Passionate about pets
After a life long passion for animal behaviour and training, I decided to spend two years as a mature student at Bicton College. I obtained a Level 3 City and Guilds Diploma in Dog Grooming with merit and started Grooming dogs around various other jobs.
Every companion is an individual. That is why I take every dog through a short assessment before we even get to the grooming. Trust is very important to me and I treat your dogs with patience and understanding.
I am always looking to learn new things about our (often) best friends and try to find what works for each animal. Whether that is toys, treats or just some cuddles and soft words. If you have a particularly anxious or nervous dog, I am happy to book a few introduction sessions to allow your dogs to feel comfortable.
Strictly One to One and personalised service, by appointment only.
At my Salon, your dog is my priority. All dogs are scheduled to include handovers at each side of the appointment. This allows you to not only ask any questions you have, but to also bring up any new issues you may be worried about so we can work for a solutions that suits us all!
It also allows me to make you aware of anything I have noticed during the appointment. I usually try to incorporate a 10 minute play session into appointments and, obviously, toilet breaks and a stretch of legs as much as needed.
Safe, Comfortable, Calm
It's important to know your dog is safe and sound. The salon has an additional gate inside to allow dogs to roam freely and explore the area inside without any risk. I try to keep the area as calm and quiet as possible to ensure a comfortable and positive environment for all.
